Background

William Blakley (Blake) Woodard has been in the insurance business since 1982 and became a partner of Woodard Insurance, LLP, in 1986, after graduating number one in his class from Texas Christian University.  While in college, he was portfolio manager of the Wm. C. Conner Foundation Educational Investment Fund.  Blake is a native of Fort Worth and graduated valedictorian from Paschal High School in 1982.  Blake is a National Merit Scholar.

Blake earned his CLU in 1990 and his ChFC in 1996.  He is one of a few licensed life and health insurance counselors in the state of Texas.  Blake specializes in life, disability, and long-term care insurance planning, employee benefit consulting, and the insurance aspects of estate planning. Blake is registered with Kovack Securities, Inc.

Blake and his wife, Rosie, have two daughters, Rachel Woodard-Kelley (a law student at Seattle University and a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin) and Sarah (electrical engineer at a Palo Alto tech firm and a double graduate of Stanford University), and a son, William (civil engineering major at Purdue University).
