Degree: Texas Christian University BA-International Relations, 2006 Texan Status: Naturalized (child born in Texas) Joining Woodard in January 2007, Shishana Rice wins the award for the longest route to the Woodard team. After growing up in Citrus Heights, California (near Sacramento), she spent six years in the US Air Force as a Russian translator and a semester in St. Petersburg, Russia, living with a Russian family as part of her TCU international relations & Russian studies. Shishana was introduced to Woodard by TCU political science professor and world champion mud wrestler, Dr. Ralph Carter, who also attempted to teach Blake Woodard two decades earlier. Like most of her Woodard colleagues, Shishana's mission is to provide the finest customer service of any insurance or financial planning firm in Texas (modesty prevents us from saying the nation, world, or universe, but if you are a Woodard client, you know these would not be exaggerations). Fluent in Russian, Shishana already is a favorite of our numerous Russian clients. Shishana is leading the planning for the opening of our Moscow branch office in 2010, where we will be able to better serve our international oil clients. Shishana graduated from San Juan High School in Citrus Heights, California, in 1994. Shishana married Don Rice in December 2005. They are the proud new parents of Daryn Elizabeth Rice, a beautiful little girl born in Fort Worth on March 2, 2007, making Shishana & Don naturalized Texas citizens. E-mail: Shishana Rice |
