In the insurance business since 1982, Blake became a partner of Woodard Insurance, LLP, in 1986, after graduating number one in his class from Texas Christian University, where he was portfolio manager of the Wm. C. Conner Foundation Educational Investment Fund.

Blake earned his CLU in 1990 and his ChFC in 1996. Blake is one of only 200 Licensed Life & Health Insurance Counselors in the state of Texas. He specializes in estate planning, investment & retirement planning, and disability salary continuation plans.

Blake is a native of Fort Worth and graduated valedictorian from Paschal High School in 1982.

Blake is a member of Leadership Fort Worth and Arborlawn United Methodist Church.

Blake and his wife, Rosie, have two daughters, Rachel (14) & Sarah (12), and a son, William (8).
